The antioxidant group consist of vitamins A (in the form of beta-carotene and other mixed carotenoids), C, and E, along with the mineral selenium, a potent combination for protecting the cells in your body. These antioxidants also may help improve your immune system, protect you against various cancers, and even promote a stable balance of fat-burning hormones.

To maximize these benefits, try to find a formula with at least 10.000 IU (International Units) of beta-carotene and other carotenoids, 400 IU of vitamin E (preferably the natural oil form), 500 milligrams of vitamin C, and 50 micrograms of selenium.
